IMO, they've always had a tendency to take something new from each musical trend and add it to what they've already done, but there has never been a sell out. In my mind, they've already passed the point in their careers where selling out would even do them any significant amount of good, and it's therefore doubly unlikely. So, if they got bland, I'd attribute it to about anything but selling out, and I'd probably at least listen to see what they were up to. If they got rich and famous I'd probably do the makarena naked on the roof, because of the victory in music that it would represent to me. And I think more to the point, each and every one of them is genuinely talented in his own right; even if they got bland, they'd really have to work hard to suck, so, yeah, I'd probably listen.

No offense though, guys -- a BIG part of me still wishes you were a bar band. Have you heard some of our local bar bands?
