Real World's Mad Girl
... and what did you think?
good or bad.

i thought they rocked a wholllllllle lot ( anyone who saw them and wants to find out more... can always click on my banner :p )

sadly there seemed to be a whole heap of sound problems with the venue throughout the weekend, which didnt really help the band.

also with wayne's bass going down for a few seconds .. also posed a pain in the ass.
HOWEVER i would like to comment on the fact that they did a kick ass and highly professional job at continuing ..i seem to recall mr bayley filling in for the bass vocally?
An hour just wasnt long enough tho.. next year i vote for HEADLINE! ( tho gotta say Saxon were superb :p )

anyway.

the whole weekend kicked ass for me... well done once again Vince and co for another stonker of a weekend!

i really hope i am able to make it next year in order to beat my hatrick of BS gigs :p

hey well thats good to hear!

well MR B was around most of the day - at the bar .. as he told the audience he would be :p

he was also sat at the fourway kill merch table - as the blaze merch people were helping them out . 4wk toured with BLAZE in april so i guess they got to know em and stuff. they ended up camping too..

a most metal weekend!

Anyway .. yeah ..

anymore for anymore?

Hail Everyone
when blaze came on to the stage was not sure what really to expect but by the time they had finshed i was sure a fucking big thumbs up! and would see them live again.

Blaze RULES. Both on and off stage. His charisma is amazing, his attitude to music and his fans is truly inspiring, his voice is one of the most powerful around, and the sheer personality of his songs is remarkable. I'd LOVE to see him playing again next year. Last week he was merely an above-average metal act, now he's earned a place amongst my all-time favourite artists.

Before Fridays show I had only heard a few songs and was not sure what to expect but on the night he was superb. He is an excellent showman and my mates and I really enjoyed his set.
On saturday everywhere you went there was Blaze chating to the fans and signing stuff. I'm definitely up for him returning next year :headbang:

I've seen Blaze tonnes of times and he's always the same 'energetic, enthusiastic, crowd friendly nutter (just the opposite to Paradise Lost lol). You other love Blaze or loathe him. I think the guy is fucking ace.

However IMO opinion they were the 2nd best band on the friday.

Power Quest blew them away.

I still love Blaze though and Saxon. 5thmandown were pretty good too.

Gotta disagree there I'm afraid. PQ were great, even better than at their warm up gig . But Blaze were better still, and came very close to being my band of the whole weekend, only to be edged out at the end by Nightwish.

I wasn't overly impressed with Power Quest myself. Walked out halfway through the set.

I talked to Blaze a whole load on the Saturday, and I think he totally rocks!! It was the first time that I'd seen them live, and the first time that I'd met him, but they're definitely one of my favourite bands. I wish that I'd seen Steve and John on Saturday, cos I missed the opportunity for a photo on the Friday night :( I'll be at the next gig though. No question about that.

That has to be the best weekend I've had so far!!

IMO Blaze was the best band of the 2 days. I've seen him headline before and I agree that he should headline next year as he deserves more than a 1 hour set.
It was a shame though that their bassist seemed to be plagued(sp) with techincal problems through out the whole set.
