i am so there for both nights. imagine, this would be my 5th time seeing Death Angel in a 2 year span (i saw them last year at Thrash of the Titans, this past summer at the Pound and Vultures Row, and hopefully twice on nov. 15 and 16).

p.s. i wish Sadus and Heathen would tour more often.

I'll be at the show on the 15th. I mainly want to see Dreams of Damnation. (Loana... :) ) I won't be seeing the show on the 16th since I'll probably be working the Creeping Death show in Santa Monica that night.

WAAAAHHHH!! i soooo wanna see this show, but alas, I don't think I'll be back from Finnyland in time. I was at the Trash of the Titans show as well, and it was totally spiritual; I thought Death Angel were one of the bands performance-wise on the bill. BAY AREA THRASH IS BACK!! New album from Exodus coming soon, Testament are happy and healthy, and other TotT bands are hittin the road... :)

And i hear you about Sadus and Heathen!

hey there Mel. hehe you may not remember me (short, bald Filipino dude with an Iron Maiden shirt), but i met you at the In Flames/Dark Tranquillity/Sentenced show last sept. 17 at the Glass House in Pomona. i took a picture with you and Moshking as well. thanks again for taking the time to take a picture with me.

anyways, TOTT was probably the best show i've ever seen, well maybe the Iron Maiden, Halford, Queenryche 2000 show at Universal Amp. ties with TOTT as being the best metal shows i've ever seen.

too bad Exodus dropped off the Halford, Testament, Vio-Lence show in Las Vegas on dec. 29. oh well that means longer sets for all three bands.

hopefully, i'll see you again Mel (and Moshking) at the Dark Angel and Blind Guardian shows next month, if you are back in the states in time that is.

p.s. i dont see you post at metal-rules anymore? still pissed off with the fellow posters there?

I remember you! Wow, what a small metal world it is!! :)

You must not have seen the Ed Hunter tour when Maiden came thru. there was soooooo much energy in the air, that that was pretty damn spiritual! :) TOTT was pretty damn spiritual, too!

I am hoping to go to this.... What an awesome bill!

Well, i'll definitely be missing the Death Angel show, as I will be returning to the land of sun sand and surf on 11/19. :( I gotta check Moshking.com to see when Blind Guardian is...

I post there occassionally, but it's such a busy board that it's very diifficult to keep track of. I've been posting on the sinergy board mostly over the last few months, but now I'll be lookin for a new online bulletin board home.

 They would totally be awesome to see!!!!! Just when the tunes were starting to get relly interesting (ActIII), they disband. I liked some of The Organization stuff I've heard and The Swarm are decent from what I've heard. But an actual Death Angel show with all the oldies, but goodies. Too bad, I'm broke and all the way across the U.S. If I don't get to move to Germany anytime soon, it looks like I should add my crazy self to the Cali scene.

Mel - what is going on with Sinergy, or are you waiting on them to post news???? What's up, hon? Don't tell me you are missing Prog III for nothing!!!!

The only thing I can figure is that Mel won't be staying with Sinergy for much longer. Why is a good question. All will be revealed, or not. If truth is not told, rumors will abound!!!!

The truth is out. Go to Sinergy's bulletin board for the scoop or their website.

yeah, I went. Tough break for Mel. The Maidens already have a new bass player. New Eden already has a new bass player (I think). What's a poor gal to do? I'd give her a hug if I could. She seems to be a great person and I'm sure she'll be in a another band soon, maybe the perfect band.

I was always an Ultraviolence type Death Angel fan, and they kinda lost me around Act III, so i never really looked into The Organization or their other projects afterwards. But it'd be really nice if they released new material as Death Angel (as Exodus is doing). I'm bummed that I'll miss 'em in Cali...

And yes, i'm bummed about ProgPower but at least i got to see Gamma Ray in Poland! :)

Mel - I'm sure it was a great experience with Sinergy and hope you learn a lot from it. Glad you got to see Gamma Ray. The best part of going home is you get to see your kitties again.

I'm seeing Death Angel on the 16th. The last time I tried to see them (1990 in Reseda) the show was sold out and I couldn't get in. This time I got a ticket in advance. I did get to see and meet Death Angel in 1989.

If you want tickets for this show, go to http://www.moshking.com and look for the show information. There, you'll find the number to call from one of the opening bands so you can buy discount tickets. :)
