SOCCER NATION!

USA 2-0 MEX
ESL 2-2 TNT
CRC 2-0 HON

Michael Bradley with 2. Knocked one in from six yards in the first half. Blasted one home from 22 yards after 90 mins stoppage time.
El Salvador scored two in the final six minutes to steal a point at home. Costa Rica slapped around Honduras. Score should have been 6-0.
Way to go, USA!:headbang::kickass:

OK I have noticed a couple of Man U fans here (as there should be) I want to put this question out. Tevez or Rooney?

Rooney is coming back from that injury here soon, and Tevez has been filling in for him and doing a better good job, however not putting up that many goals, but he makes the defense work overtime.

I think they sould let both play and maybe bench the other forward(Griggs?)
I have been following Carlos tevez since his Argentine League days. He rules!
Tevez 11/10
Rooney 10.5/10

Both are awesome!

Cristiano Ronaldo 11.5/10:worship:rock::kickass:

Bah...Cristiano Ronaldo is very good, but very overrated too. Just like David Beckham.

I love Tevez. He played for Corinthians for over a year and led the team to the title.

Rooney, I could give a rats's ass about. He doesn't know what fair play is. The kid is a douchebag. Good scorer, but douchebag nonetheless.

In fact, did you hear about Brazil's last two matches?

Brazil 6x2 Portugal
Brazil 2x0 Italy

Cristiano Ronaldo looked like he was completely lost in the field.

CR is NOT overrated and NOBODY bends it like Beckham!

Ah dude, come on, seriously.... Anyone who really knows soccer is aware that Beckham is good, but is mostly marketing. He's NOT the best, never was player of the year and will never be. He's great at free kicks and has great vision of the game, but that's about it. Cristiano Ronaldo is different, he's amazing technically but there are better players than him, such as Argentina's Lionel Messi and Brazil's Kaka.

Beckham is a product of the vivid marketing mind of Simon Fuller. Beckham should has proven to be one of the biggest frauds in history. What he is doing in regard with the current BS with AC Milan is nothing short of a disgrace. Now, I do not fully absolve AEG (LA Galaxy's owner), who gives a shit for soccer as a vegetarian would give a shit for the local butcher. But, Beckham should be told how the real world operates in American sports: You sign a deal, you abide by it or you sit out.

Beckham has made many of the world's great soccer plays even better over the years by playing alongside them. Of course, he has many more assists than actual goals, but he IS a midfielder, after all.
Lionel Messi is a great player indeed! Kaka will kick butt when he returns to the pitch. How about the great rising star Ibrahimovich? Now there's a talented youngster!

I agree that his assists are phenomenal many times, I just think there's too much hype on him. It's just exaggerated, almost as if he's #1 a celebrity and #2 a soccer player. Therefore my opinion (him being overrated).

Regarding midfielders scoring, I think it's not that difficult. Kaka is a midfielder (with attacking tendencies) and he scores more than Beckham does. Same thing with Cristiano Ronaldo and Ronaldinho.

Ibrahimovic is awesome! I love the way he plays! The guy is a scoring machine!

I pretty much agree with your opininions here. It's always great talking soccer with my fellow football enthusiasts!:headbang::kickass:

See, this is part of why I hate the MLS with passion. While I do understand that professional soccer is just another business in the whole world, there's still true passion left for the sport in Europe and South America. Most owners and directors of teams abroad want to see their team win and make money. They won't sign stars just because of the marketing and the possible income that it'll generate, but also because it increases the chance of the club winning titles and going up the ladder.

In the MLS, it's strictly about the money. Most of these owners could give a rat's ass if the team is winning, as long as they're making dollars. It's sad. No wonder the MLS is one of the least enjoyable leagues to watch. The teams are just of poor quality (let's face it, it's pathetic at times) and seem indifferent to the team's performance.

I don't know, I love this sport to death, much like most of the world. This is the biggest sport in the world and the one that generates the most money. However, I still don't see soccer becoming any bigger in America. It's just not meant to happen, and it saddens me to come to this conclusion.

Total Liverpool nut.

Internationally i support England.

Best players in the world atm
would be
Messi
Xavi
Ibrahimovic
and cause i'm a bit biased the two liverpool gods pictured above

Hate ManUre...CR7 is a cvnt....way overrated...rarely steps up in the big matches when it matters....

Beckham has a great right foot...but his general play is average...for a winger he drifts infield way too often and crowds the midfield.

I hate Man U.

Stevie G used to be absolute quality, now he's an above average whining, diving cunt.

Torres is absolute class, far and away the best striker in the premier league.
