Solo recording : Powerball or 5150 ?

Hi all,

I am recording on my home studio some songs for my metal band.
I have blend 5150 and ENGL Powerball for rythm guitars on 4 tracks. Now I need to record the solos, but I wonder which amp I will choose for that...
(my dream would be to get sounding like Nevermore solos )

Anyone has suggestions?

Blend them? Reamp with both and choose the one that fits best?

Try them both. The powerball is smoother than the 5150, but I think it's easier to get the 5150 to scream. For nevermore leads, I'd use the powerball.
