Since some people don't like board flooding here's a bunch of bands to check all in the one thread.

Tommy Vitaly - Just Me. He's an Italian melodic power dude from the band Seven Gates, yeah no one's ever heard of him but anyway you don't need fans to release an album just will and he has that obviously! He actually got Thomas Vikstrom to sing on this which is a plus and also Rhino plays drums not that it matters who drums just letting you know. The songs on YT sound quite cool and TV sings great as usual but most of the album is instrumental wankery but the two songs below have vocals. The second one is a big Helloweeny Eagle Fly Free type song with TV's voice reaching the stratosphere on the chorus. If you love Helloween you'll love that song.

Underpain - Endless Circle. Heavy Brazillian power metal with lots of keys. Sounds a bit like Brainstorm. Worth seeking out this band. It's not perfect but not shabby either. Vocals are heavy, gritty and melodic.

Soullhunter - Scanning Horizons - Brazillian Christian power metal. Pretty good stuff with cool heavy riffs. Not sure about the vox though, something about him is slightly off putting.
http://www.myspace.com/soullhunter - There is a link to download the whole album for free on myspace but it doesn't work so you'll have to do your own searching.

Hinder - All American Nightmare. Modern rock with hints of 80s sleaze but mainly modern. This vid is a bit saucy as are the lyrics with one of the best and corniest lines ever in rock. "I make the good girls bad, the bad girls wet!" The song just rocks. the whole album is similar. There's not much substance to it like in a band like Alter Bridge, but if you empty your head and disengage the brain, and get off on the good time rock n roll vibes there's loads to be enjoyed.

Hardcore Superstar - Split Your Lip. Similar to Hinder but a little bit more grit and power. Mind you the album as a whole ain't doing it for me. The songs are not catchy enough for me. It's quite a good album but not really hitting the right spots for me. The title track is one of the better songs though. Whole album is on YT.

Faithealer - Welcome to the Edge of the World. Led by ex Balance of Power man Ivan Gunn comes a melodic rock album with symphonic elements very similar to the very first BoP album. This album is quite good but again the songs are not always that catchy. There is a promo on YT in the first vid. The second song is one of the best on the album. A melodic rock gem.

Unruly Child - Worlds Collide. The Return of Marcie Free and her melodic rock/AOR band. The album as a whole is very nice but not always perfect. This song however IS perfect. AOR perfection in fact!

Metal Inquisitor - Unconditional Absolution. Old school classic heavy metal veterans with great vocals. The whole album is very enjoyable indeed. This song Persuader is very cool with Maidenish parts. I really like this singer's tone. He sings very clean. I can't quite place who he sounds like at the moment but his voice is just excellent for me.

Crom - Of Love and Death. German melodic viking power metal band. Their last album Vengeance was pretty good. They have two samples from the new one on myspace and whilst it's slow and not heavy it still sounds very good with great melodic vocals which reminds me of Mattias Blad of Falconer. The music is not far from a slow Falconer song either. Look forward to this album but there doesn't seem to be any release details at all. By the way check out Wings of Fire from the previous album, it's a great song.

Conscience - Aftermath of a Summer Snow. One for you prog metal fans. This band is from France. Worth a listen at myspace. They play midpaced and clean prog metal with lighter introspective passages. Vocals are a bit weak but musically some of you may like the band.

Finally a Ukranian power metal band called Abordaj singing in their native tongue. They are quite good indeed. Plenty of songs to DL at the link below. Try the top one of Master of Seas.

You seem to have endless time the comb the depths of the internets for things that might appeal to us. Awesome, it is.

lots of stuff! Underpain has already been mentioned recently, by Glenn IIRC.

Frosttide - Dawn of Frost. Typical stuff from the icy Arctic circle. Frosty brilliantly catchy melodies, raspy vox, all wrapped up in beautiful production. For fans of Wintersun, Ensiferum, Turisas etc.

This thread takes ages to open now hehe...

anyway onwards and upwards..the new Signum Regis album kicks oceans. It's truly fantastic. The vocals are provided by Goran Edman and Goran let me tell you is very slowly becoming one of my fave singers of all time! The guy's voice is pure joy! This song Purpleborn is just a killer tune. The chorus and music is just awesome to my ears. WHAT A SONG!

I like Frosttide. I don't know about your comparisons though. It almost seems like power metal with raspy vox. Can't find the disc anywhere though or a band website for that matter. Any suggestions?

Good stuff, and they're fellow Peruvians. Thanks for the post!

Noooooooooooo!!!!! Why the abrupt end? Anyways, this is some really solid power metal here. Like Bob I would love to hear a full length.

While it's fast, I don't hear the Dragonforce similarity. I see old Stratovarius but I don't think this sounds anything like Dragonforce.
