Some Mixing/Mastering Feedback

Hey guys, my first post on the forum!
I'm doing my first full production job on a local band's EP. I'm feeling pretty happy with the way it sounds now, but there's always room for improvement. I figured I'd ask you guys what needs to be fixed and how I might fix it.

As much as I hate to, I'm gonna bump this.

Too MUCH highs man! And there's quite a lack of bass and body to the whole mix...

Alrighty. I'm guessing that's due to my mastering? I figured I might have been overprocessing it on the master track.

Alright, I think I fixed most of the initial problems. Check the first post for the link again, I replaced the old soundcloud file.

Took away some unnecessary plugins from the mastering chain, and added maxxbass to the kick and bass guitar tracks to improve bass response for different types of speakers. Opinions on this?

Let me know what you guys think now. Always open for constructive criticism and suggestions!
