In the Amazon you'll never know when a full grown anaconda might be setting up for having you as a meal.. Or a school of piranhas quietly waiting in the water
(Holy shit I've seen those things devour a whole deer to nothing but its bones in a matter of minutes)
Army ants, which make anything they blanket in their path instant fleshless carcass.

..not that I've seen any of this with my own eyes because I've never been anywhere in Colombia except for the capital, Bogotá, where I was born and raised
