This was the result of last weekends session. The band are named Beneath The Crimson Skyline. This was my first true solo session due to my studio partner being away. Try not to judge the band too harshly, they openly admitted during the session that they write the most cliched lyrics imaginable for the sole reason of appealing to the teenage emo kids.

There's A Name For Girls Like You

As I don't listen to any music like this I ended up using mr Sneaps work with The Blueprint as a mix reference. Turned out pretty well I think although I'm becoming painfully aware of my mastering shortcomings.

Yeah it does, but they're not paying me for that time so I'm not doing it.

To give the singer credit he was recovering from a vocal cord nodule removal when we recorded this. Funnily he said that the screaming parts seem to have actually speeded his recovery up.
