Excellent alernative, post-rock, etc. I prefer music that includes vocalists rather than merely instrumental. Other than that, I'm hankering for something great not of the metal and you gits seem to be quite well versed. Thank yes. :p
 
Instrumental music is tits if its done right, but even one instrument being off can ruin it. Case in point:

Yawning Man - Rock Formations

Good album but shit, the stiff drumming ruins it. Alfredo Hernandez can do forty times better, what the fuck is up with these boring, grooveless beats?
 
what's the deal with people being wary of instrumental music?
A fair question, given that more often than not, the element that drives me away from a band is the vocalist. Hell, when's the last time you heard someone say, "This band slays, but I just can't get past the bassist's tone."?
