Something bass heavy about this...

Can anyone take a listen to this and let me know what you think? I need some fresh ears...

It's sounding really low-end/bass heavy on my end.

I think the guitars may need to come down a bit too?

Also, don't mind the loud punch at the beginning of each bar. Something stupid happening in Logic bounces I need to figure out.

Not bass heavy at all. I would say that there is a lack of mid range and that the guitars are very scratchy however.

Thanks for the reply! Would you say the over-all mix is mid-less or are you mentioning just guitars? And regarding the scratchiness of guitars, what would you recommend? I'll go back and try some different settings on the preamp. Maybe less gain or treble?

I am currently at work so this is coming off thought but I am not using a boost before the guitars. Maybe lowering some high mids and then boosting the lower mids with tss or something? Or is it more of an overall mix that the mids lack?

Okay, how does this sound? I personally think the guitars sound better but maybe those are my tired ears saying that. I tried to make sure I didn't go to high in, well, the highs. Possibly less scratchy? I also put some overdrive into the bass at around 500-550hz...I also changed the kick around in the mix and it sounds a bit funny to me...
