Hey guys, just wondered whether you have experienced this. In msn messenger every time i attempt to do an audio conversation the sound quickly switches itself off in a short decline and leaves me with nothing. It can only be switched back up by cancelling the audio convo and then pulling the sound bar master output (in windows' typical sound level thing) back up again. Even after a clean wipe of windows it continues to do this also.
The only thing i can think of is that my jumpers on the card are set to i think +4db (so i can get a good hot sig through the xlr cables) which may cause messenger to automatically chuck out the signal... but either way, its a stupid problem and theres no way im gonna compromise recording quality for messenger :p

Any ideas for a quick fix perhaps? I can maybe post a video if its any help. Its just really weird!

Does your mobo have on board sound. If so just switch to that when using MSN.

Yes it does dude. Im just looking for a permanent fix tho really, or at least find out what the heck the problem is lol.

Maybe it is not a problem at all. Maybe that is just the way it is.
