Corpsegrinder is vastly better than Barnes... frankly Barnes sounds HORRIBLE these days. However the two best albums were Barnes era albums.

I like both, but Barnes just fit's the Cannibal Corpse aesthetic so much better.

I mean, come on, his voice sounds vile and putrid, like everything death metal is supposed to be. He sounds like, as one guy on Youtube put it once, fucking "filthy, dead sex".

Deicide are alright. They aren't great. I wouldn't say they are shitty even now but their older stuff is definitly much better than what they have recently put out.

I like most of their albums. The first 3 are utterly 'slaytanic' though. Essential OSDM.
