Something I noticed about Exodus...

Mikkey Dee is very good in sound and solid.

I liked Gar Samuelson of Megadeth. He had a uniqueness to his style and did randomize a bit. It was very noticeable and even years later, Mustaine did have a lot of positive things to say about him, regardless of how he felt about him personally, Too bad Gar is dead, though. Anything on the second side of Peace Sells kills with drumming.

This is all very true. Gar was excellent in my opinion and ditto on the Mikkey Dee statement.

1.Motorbreath /Metallica

That Galloping riff is simple as hell but it still gets me everytime! I have loved this song since the first time I heard it!!

2.Elimination/ Overkill

That's my favorite Overkill song period. Back when my voice wasn't shut, I used to sing it off the to^p of my lungs while riding in my car and the mothers who stopped at red rlights beside me would stare in mass confusion... I love this song!

3.Medusa/ Anthrax

Ahhh... that classic 80's topic about female being evil!!! This song is awesome for rhythms! So far your best of rules!!!

4.Equal rights/ Nuclear Assault

Off the Survive album! That song rules... I love the fast as hell picking and the chaotic vox on this one! the chorus owns!

5.In My Darkest hour/ Megadeth

That song never did it for me. I know it's a classic and all but I've always prefered Mary Jane to In My Darkest Hour.

6.Murder/Helloween

The actual title is Murderer... I love this song as I do the whole Helloween EP!!!

7.COTLOD/Testament

Any song off the Legacy album would have earned it's rightful place here on your compilation!!! Great choice though! Short but intense song!

8.Nuclear Winter/ Sodom

Great choice! But I still think batism by fire owns every sodom song!

9.Cemetary Gates/Pantera

You went for a more preogressive one here but it's all good because the dynamics on this one are awesome!

10.I Live You Die/ Flotsam And Jetsam

No Place For Disgrace is still one of the best thrash album in my book! I love the chaotic bass intro to this one and the shuffle drums that follow! and the first vocal lines are just classic!!! I live... You DiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiaiaiaiaiaiaiaiE!!!!!!!!

11. Scavenger Of Human Sorrow/ Death

Well... I really don't know what's this one doing here since you have many oldschool and underproduced songs and then you throw this one... Sure, it's great but I don't see how it fits here

12.Raining Blood/ Slayer

Sheer speed here. Great choice. No matter how people say it's overrated... it deserves to be!

13.Arrival/King Diamond

Great choice. It's such a shame that Abigail's production is so poor. Mikey Dee shreds here!

14. Piranah / Exodus

As previously stated by Pyrus, this is the perfect thrash song!!!

15.Regin Of Fire/ Armored Saint

John Bush on voc! Armored Saint is a very underrated band and this is a very good song by them!

16. Human insecticide/ Annihilator

That legendary intro riff with the natural harmonics! This one makes my comp everytime I burn one!

17.Threatening Skies/ Obituary

Obituary... that guy can fuckin scream! all I've got to say

HAHAHA thanks for the play by play. I went with Scavenger because I really like th intro and its actually the first death song I ever heard via a live video so it has some symbolic meaning to me. Yeah I miss typed the Helloween song, but yeah that Ep kicks ass, because of time constraints I put that on there instead of HEAVY METAL IS THE LAW. Also If I wouldve thought about it I wouldve put HALL OF THE MOUNTAIN KING or WHITE WITCH from Savatage. Oh well another compilation, another time. I went with cemetary Gates because I had so many fast thrash songs I wanted to slow it down a bit. Mikkey Dees drums on Arrival kill me, esp. the cymbal work.

Oh and MARY JANE is my second favorite off of So Far So good So What.

Ahah, so true. It made me happy when I was 16 and people told me I looked like 20, but now I just want to look my age. Telling me I look older pisses me off.
