Something is wrong with my mix here..

Hi guys,

I am quite new here, and new to mixing and audio stuffs here. I want to make an EP sometimes this year or early next year, but seems like my mix is already not that good enough to be part of it.

I know that the cymbals here are quite too loud, but the guitar just doesn't sounds right, like it is far away from the mix.

its your drums mainly, also cut the mid in the bass guitar, bring the 1.1khz up..you're guitars needs to sound wider, did you pan them FULL left and right? if not, try doing so, if you did, try to EQ one guitar different to make a wider stereo range on the gtrs.

Your bassdrum needs more body and ...bass ! try a different bassdrum sound (to make life easier), one with more bass and body, theres plenty of them around here.
Cymbals needs to go even lower in the mix. Snare sounds cool to me, it has to come up a tiny bit, and maybe turn up the 200hz a tiny bit!
