Trying out with new tone!

Hi guys,

I'm learning every day, so I need feedback with my new mix, im just trying out. The last time I posted, the drums sounded bad, cymbals were too loud. I'm not sure about this one though, the kick seems to be competing with the bass to me.



So, any suggestions on getting this mix better? Sorry for the sloppy playing...

Alright, someone needs to say this: learn to properly play your instrument before you concern yourself with mixing. Mixing is the last step in a song production, but it's ok if you just wanted to practice it a little.
That being said, the mix isn't bad. The guitars are a little honky, and could use a 2-3 db cut in the 600-800 hz range.
