For me it's Fermented Offal Discharge on bass by Necrophagist.

Should be fun:worship:

Behemoth - Demigod transposed down to B on 7-string (still fighting a bit with the fast parts of the solo)

and parts of stuff like Necrophagist - Foul Body Autopsy or Cannibal Corpse - Frantic Disembowelment to train my fingers some more

other than that: my own stuff LOL (sometimes I really end up having problems with playing what I have written)

lots of bodom to get the fingers going mixed with hangar 18 then into my own stuff (same as hexer... you sometimes get ideas then have trouble playing them right in the context/tempo of a song)

The last 2 songs I'm trying to learn are Pantera - This Love, Staind - Zoe Jane. Drums.

Yeah,I learned Fermented of Discharge solo on guitar recently, it is a great solo and training. Now i will play Epitaph solo\m/

I've been working on technical things for a long time now and creating drum parts for some original music. All of this has left me wanting to tap into the raw aggressive feel side of things so I'm playing along to old Sepultura and Slayer at the moment. Just working on beating the beejeezus out of the drums to get the tone and the aggression.

Peace,
DHD

I've been working on the guitar solos from '...And Justice For All'. I've almost got the solos for 'One' and 'Eye of the Beholder' perfected and just started messing around with the title track the other day.

Meshuggah - Future Breed Machine :headbang:

damn those guys are sick....
can play it along with the GuitarPro-tab now, but I keep messing up some of the parts when playing without seeing the tab
fucking 8/4->10/4->8/4->9/4->8/4->9/4->4/4 gives me some trouble when playing without the tab :zombie: o_O any tips on how to memorize the whole thing?

that stuff is really sick, but its great fun because of that same reason!!! :kickass:

:) I dont think I'll record that, but I'm working on some of my own stuff and I recently started using some of polyrythmic parts and stuff like that, too. so I'll hopefully get some of that recorded

damn, I even kinda freaked out 2 weeks ago and wrote a little polymetric riff.... ever tried having one guitar play in 4/4 while the other guitar plays in 5/4? when doing the drums I didnt care about metrum anymore
