If You Want Peace Prepare For War is my 2nd favorite off the Are You Dead Yet? album *cries his heart out after reading all of the replies*. To me that song just plain kicks ass.
For me the songs I loathe are In Your Face, Next In Line, Bastards Of Bodom (the rest off AYDY kick ass), and that's it so far.

I'v listened to a lot of their songs off the Imagination From The Other Side album and i really liked a lot of the songs cuz of the guitars and the melody but i don't like it when there are a lot of clean vocals so i don't really like them.

Hansi Kursch has one of the best power metal voices I've ever heard. I like clean vocals, but I tend to gravitate more towards bands with harsh vocals (though I'm not too fond of brutal death and grating, amelodic crap in that vein).

Lake Bodom is the most kickass-Bodom song ever...its up there with great songs like Where dead Angels lie from Dissection or Episode 666 from In Flames...


I'm not gonna pick an AYDY song for the worst song (too obviously) but Triple Corpse Hammerblow is a weakpoint, same goes for Northern Comfort AND Wrath within (they didn't try hard enough on the last 2 songs, thats why they are weak)

Thats why those songs are never or rarely played live. I don't know about those Follow the Reaper songs but I know that Triple Corpse Hammerbow is Alexi's least favorite song and he has said it will never be played live.

Its a shame because it was my favorite song the first time I had listened to HCDR. But now, a few years later, it has become very weak. :Smug:

Same. i.e. Blind Guardian have a great library of excellent songs, but a lot of their early stuff tends to blend together and I find I can't listen to an album like "Battalions of Fear" as much as "Imaginations...".
