One bit of slightly good news [in the wake of this shit that is], is that the database of credit cards that got hit was from 2007, so all but 900 of those cards are already expired.

Yeah but what the fuck where they doing with a database of credit cards from 2007? I get that you have to keep records for 7 years, but dump them and store them NOT ONLINE.

They're not suing George Hotz actually, but they did go after him to see what exactly it was he hacked and released out there. That whole thing was blown out of proportion, but it was definitely interesting.
