the best thing about helium is that it's one of the inert gases they mix with oxygen in superdeepsea vessels so you don't end up with nitrogen narcosis, so every time you see a movie set on the bottom of the sea, everyone is ACTUALLY speaking really squeaky, but they cut it out so as not to appear ridiculous. but if you ever find yourself battling a crazy ex-marine in a sub somewhere, you would sound like kerri strug.
