Yes, I do enjoy some of Sopor Aeternus. I think La Chambre d'echo is the best the last few albums but I really enjoy the dark atmosphere and mood contained in the early releases.

Not really my kind of Goth. I couldn't quite get past the overwhelming sense of this:

Darkwave is still supreme though, I guess I like it more synthy and ethereal/postpunk sounding. Although I haven't heard anything else that really sounds like Sopor Aeternus so I guess they're original at least.
