Souljourners - New Tune "Next to Me"

I absolutely love the band Souljourners. It has been a while since their debut and I have been eagerly awaiting a new release. Michael Couts, lead vocals and guitarist extraordinaire, is an incredible talent. On their website they have posted their new single "Next to Me". I hope that this means that a new album is on its way. Here's the link:

I read somewhere that Oct/Nov was the expected date. I heard a couple of new tunes from posted live shows but not the studio cuts. Ill have to check this out tonight. The few I did hear sounded lighter and fluffier than the debut, I hope thsts not their new direction.

Solid song, but not as impactful as the debut. Of course, it IS only one song...... (Maybe having Phil Collen back would have helped...... :Smokedev

Solid, melodic song. Hope the rest of the record is more adventurous. I do like the vocal approach. Less of a modern rock influence compared to their previous cd.

After just listening to the Mind Control album on Spotify, I can see what some of you guys are saying regards the new single "Next To Me"....a somewhat different style indeed.
