Here's a song a friend of mine and I wrote a few months ago. It's short and simple. And yes it's streaming on MySpace but you get the picture. My question is about the mix. The drums (specifically the snare) seem to low. Any thoughts? I'm using Acoustica Beatcraft for the drums and am seriously thinking of upgrading to DFH. The guitars are strictly left and right and were recorded with a POD XT Live using a modified JCM 800 preset. Currently there is no bass or vocals but we have lyrics and hopefully those will come next. This is the first of 4 we have currently written and personally I think they keep getting better.
