Is this a good soundcard?

Inspire P7800 with Sound Blaster Audigy 2 NX?

And how much better is it than the Creative Audigy 2NX External USB soundcard? I'm looking to purchase a dell laptop and need some advice? If anybody is familiar with dell... Is the XPS model worth all the money? Or would one of the smaller laptops suffice? (All I want the pc for is recording purposes and to back up some of my harder to find cd's)

Get an Audigy 2 ZS, i have one, and i'm using Boston BA790 Digital speakers..

Audigy cards are somewhat overrated, and Creative drivers are notoriously shit. Take a look at M-Audio, particularly if you're into recording/production.
