Soundcard recommendations

Can anyone recommend a soundcard/audio interface around the sort of $250 mark with a half decent mic preamp in it? Also would like MIDI on it as well

Just looked at the Delta10/10LT, anyone here using this/recommend it?

I use a Delta1010 (and before that a 66) and it's great. Unfortunately it doesn't have any mic-pre's. I use my old Soundcraft mixer for that currently.

The 10/10LT has mic pre's on the xlr inputs.

Yeah, just saying that both Delta cards I've used have been great.

Yep, its great. Does everything i want it to and more! Had a few difficulties with getting it all set up at first, but that was me being a tecnophobe.

In fact, i think this is the only choice to be made for a card with midi and preamp capability in this sort of price range! Also I hear a few years ago the card was more heavily priced at just below the $500 mark or something. There is nothing i can say bad about it for the £111.45 i paid.
