thoughts???

i have 2 firepds now. i wouldnt mind spending the dough on like high quality miultiple channel pres BUT i dont have enough to spend like that much to add up to the minumum 16 tracks i would need for drums (considering most good pres are max 4 channels)

so anyway, being that the ghost is also a board what does evetyone think??? its like 6 grand or so maybe its more cost efficient and then one by one i can add some pres here and there for vocals and guitars individually and stuff

the ghost is a pretty nice board...used one a couple of times

the big gripe that i had, though, was that to turn on the phantom power, you had to lift the above the meter bridge, then peek down in there to find the 48V switch. not sure if the LE is the same, but it was quite a pain in the ass when you're using a bunch of condensers on a kit.

Im kind of interested in what people have to say about this too, I only have one firepod but ive considered picking up another and a mixer like the soundcraft or a Mix Wizard but Im not sure what kind of or how drastic the improvements would be.
