I finally bought this film on DVD, it was one of my favs as a child and still holds up to this day.

Heston rules as the cop who finds out the terrible secret of the new SOYLENT GREEN food.


Great cast, great movie.

Yes it is a very disturbing film, but charleton Heston is the shit. NRA FOREVER!!

The strange part about the story is that it can become a reality very easy.

I feel that we are headed in that direction.



And of course Charlton Heston is the man.
I think my next purchase will be The Omega Man, truely another Heston classic.

Soylent Green... took me till I was 18 to see it (deprived i know), and I don't know if it's just that I'd always heard so much hype or what, but it didn't live up to what I'd hoped. Granted, it's a great movie with a believable story and marvelous acting, but after hearing everyone's raving about it, I was a tad put off by it.

Still worth buying for my collection though.

I've still never seen Omega Man either (awaits the flames and beatings)
