I'm looking for recommendations of albums that have abstract concepts as their style or just anything space or science themed....haha

A few that I really liked are:

Pagan's Mind - Enigmatic: Calling
Decrepit Birth - Diminishing Between Worlds
Scar Symmetry - Holographic Universe
Augury - Concealed
Blotted Science - The Machinations Of Dementia
Dawn of Relic - One Night In Carcosa
Devin Townsend - Synchestra
Winds - Reflections of the I

Keldian - Heaven's Gate
Keldian - Journey of Souls

almost everything they have is sci-fi based, the little that isn't comes from other myth/fantasy related literature, like Keats' "Hyperion". I'm pretty much a junkie for this band, so..

Iron Savior - Unification .... cheesy fun sci-fi conceptual stuff involving Atlantis..

Luca Turilli - Prophet of the Last Eclipse..might just be the best thing he's done...another story of cliches..evil prophecy, war on a planet, etc..amazing stuff though.

every other Pagan's Mind album obviously...

and I'll include something non-metal:

Enigma - A Posteriori

If you can get into sort of....electro-lounge..ish music, at all...or anything atmospheric, instrumental, and spacey, I highly recommend this as well.

I need more stuff like that too........... :worship:

here's some:

Alarum - Eventuality
Atheist - Unquestionable Presence
Cephalic Carnage - Xenosapien
Gojira - From Mars to Sirius
Hypocrisy - Abducted, S\T, The Arrival
Megadeth - Rust in Peace
Obliveon - Nemesis, Cybervoid
Origin - All of 'em
Pestilence - Spheres
Samael - Exodus, Eternal, and some of the rest
Vintersorg - Cosmic Genesis, Visions..., Focusing Blur

They arn't neccessarily spacey sounding but all deal with the subject matter of science and science fiction themes. And they're all pretty good. Except for some of the later Samael.

I've never thought of Darkspace as spacey sounding.

Mithras, Alchemist and some Devin Townsend stuff maybe.
