My friend wants to take out two of his G12T-75 from his 1960a cab and put in to vintage 30s cause he heard this sounded cool, anyone have any experience with this or know if it'd be a good idea?

I don't like mixing speakers in cabinets for recording purposes because having mismatched speakers in a cabinet causes phasing issues.

For live the V30 T75 combo is awesome. Dunno how much I'd like it for recording because of the phase issues mentioned, and second hand 1960's are so cheap here that I'll just end up picking one of them up when I have room and spare cash.
