I know most people here are talking about Steven Slate TRIGGER...and Drumagog 5 with internal VSTi support..

I've tested out the SPL drumXchanger and so far I can say the trigger detection compared to aptrigga and drumagog4 is ALOT better. No support for simoustainly stacked multisamples, though.....

Given my experience with apTrigga NEVER having a snare, kick or tom track I couldn't get it to trigger properly in several years of use with little effort - and given that TRIGGER EX is $130 and owns apTrigga, for me, and has more options and layering - who cares about SPL's offering... especially at the price the are asking?

There's things in the design that intrigue me (replacing sounds irrespective of their level, high and low pass filters etc) but overall it seems to be alot more money for alot less plugin.

There is a basic sample library included in it, but really it isn't of much interest to me as I've already got SSD and the £100 upgrade to Trigger Platinum is a no brainer to me.
