Last night Opeth played at Skylten in Linköping, Sweden. We had a slice of Extol from Oslo as a starter, decent death/thrash with some nice songs.

On to the main course - Opeth!

They played a mixed set with both old calssical tunes as well as some softer songs. I gotta say that Opeths songs, or should I say pieces of music, are even more dynamic played live than on record. To summarize the concert - fantastic!

I just sat down and wrote down the setlist. I'm not all sure about the order of the songs. And I think the song from Morningrise was Advent, but I'm not sure. Someone else who was there?

I think it was the best concert i`ve been to!

"Face of Melinda" was one of my favouritemoments.

Switch places: "Bleak" <> "Face of Melinda" and the list is correct.

Yes, it was a great show. As an Opeth fan of late I favor the later songs with clean parts. However, the first Opeth song I ever heard was Demon of the Fall, good to get to hear it live! My favorite song came early in the set - The Drapery Falls.

I think it was a fucking excellent show, and I was really surprised to hear Face of Melinda live... apparently they never played it live in Sweden before, so I'm glad I was there to see it
FoM is my favourite "soft" Opeth song so it really made the show complete.

Damn.. I was at both the norwegian gigs and they didn`t play "Face of Melinda" on any of them.. My only complaint was that there should have been more songs from "Still Life".
