first of all, i have watched the tutorial video about blending instruments,
it doesn't work for me though...

at 2:25 the guy opens up a kit, drags a second kick into one of the free slots and the next time he plays the kick BOTH samples trigger simultaniously.

this does not work for me, i gues i have to "link" the samples together, i just can't find out how...

any ideas!?

Make sure it's routed correctly on the mixer tab, etc. When you add a new instrument it will create a new track on the mixer inside of SSD4. Pretty sure when you add an instrument it automatically links to the same MIDI note as the one in the kit you loaded by default.

OMG I AM SO DAMN...

it works when i play back a MIDI...all added samples are played at once!

when i hit the actual drumit graphic (for previewing) only the actual loaded kick is played back...confusing

glad you figured it out, it's always something simple that makes you feel dumb
