Hey folks!

Just an idea I put together today to test my new screaming technique. Hope you enjoy it as I tried to make it as interesting as possible :D

Cheers!

Who are you, to force the stay?
And break the flow of these lives in such ways?
They may have been surrounded,
But in their minds they are grounded,

Deep,
Deep in the sound,

Deepen the sound of slavery,
It crawls relentlessly on,

And I don't lay my beliefs in stone,
For I can change,
And I have now,

Evolved,
No limits,

Can I ask what the signal chain looks like? The guitars in particular sound fucking fantastic.

I have little to no experience mixing vocals, but I can tell you need to push them more into the background and add some effects- maybe saturation, a bit of chorus, a little distortion during the heavy parts? I'm sure you already have some of this, but they just need some touching up.

I really like the song itself too. The clean part sounds a little like '90s-era Incubus, which is an excellent thing!

Hey man! firstly may I thank you deeply for such a kind response!

The signal chain is REALLY basic man, just TSE x50, keFIR cab sim and EQ. All the tone comes from the DI's, Bareknuckle pickups and choice of cab impulse.

Vocals could certainly do with some work in this, however with my new interface (got it yesterday) the vocals are a LOT better :D

And thanks once again for the kind comments!
