I was thinking about buying a multi-effect pedal and wanted to make sure it would have that. (I think they also use it on Enslaved-Frost) Also if anyone knows of any really good ones I'd love to here your suggestions.

Here's what got that sound:
Fingers, a neck with no frets, round-wounds, a good direct box, my Ampeg, a little reverb and a good mix.
Sorry man, no high-tech gadgets were used during the recording. Just chorus and reverb during mixdown. It's all pure fretless trippiness.

So I guess now the quest is on to find an effects box that makes things sound fretless, huh Charlotte? 
no he's only got a little bit of chorus on it, you can only really hear it above the 12th fret. Ya I'd have to buy a fretless to get that sound.
