Still recovering from Maiden in NYC!!

Hey all!! Brand new on this board. I hung out with Jaykeeley in New York this past weekend at the Maiden show.

I seem to be less outraged than most at the result of the cutting short of their set. Obviously I would have loved to have heard the encore, but I thought up until that point the show went GREAT!!!! Probably the best performance I've ever seen Maiden do.

Anyone else have any thoughts??

Yeah it was definitely a great show, for the new material alone. The classic stuff never seems to tire either (especially when you're in the atmosphere of the event).

Best show by Maiden? Certainly one of the best, but I've got to admit that seeing them at the Orpheum Theater in Boston on the Ed Hunter tour was probably one of my favorite times, specifically because they did all the classics (as voted for by the fans).

The only thing that I'm still recovering from is that diner food...man, the shit we eat when we drink too much, eh?

That food was awesome!! I don't know what you had, but my corned beef hash was utter perfection.

Actually it all worked out very well. That crazy bar was only a few blocks from the show, and then the diner was a few blocks from the bar. It didn't even matter too much that it was cold enough to freeze your nuts off...

Disco Fries! I will remember to order this forever now. Gravy over cheese french fries (tastes better after 7 pints of guinness). It's the devil's food and the devil's shits! I think I took two Lipitor that following morning.
