Stormwitch, Fifth Angel, Praying Mantis?

I know them, and i love Stormwitch and Fifth Angel, and simply like Praying Mantis.

what kind of thread is this " do u know these bands? no? then know them right away"
Everyone should know some stuff that he doesnt know but i dont think some should consider himself "metal tutor"

This is a metal BB. for metal discussion. I am discussing metal. What is the problem? You know these bands and so do I. Good for us. Now what about other metal fans who may have not heard of them? I am sharing some old school bands that I greatly enjoy, and other fans of that type of metal may check them out and like them also. Is that not a good thing? Or would you rather never expand your musical horizons? How many bands have you checked out because someone said something cool about them, or are you just Mr. Underground and know them all personally? Noone is being a metal tutor, or whatever here..

Please.......I shouldn't even be having to say this.

It would be tiring if everyone made a thread about some bands that he discovered and he thinks others should learn them, the whole UM guys would make threads like this.Everyone knows stuff that others dont know but it would be so boring just giving lists of bands that we think others should know about them .

 

[Steel Warrior]

All 3 are awesome. Stormwitch deserved more recognition. They were a mayor force in the 80's heavy metal underground. Sad that only a few people knows about them. And good for me to have all their 80's cd's in the original GAMA versions Prating Mantis is one of my top fave bands. Fifth Angel: too bad they only made 2 albums, but also good if having in mind that they were heading for a very mainstream direction.

Stormwitch - first heard about them after I heard HammerFall cover "Ravenlord". Then I bought "War of the Wizards" and was extremely disappointed. "Wanderer" was a good song, but the others I really didn't get into. Do they have some better albums that I should check out?

Praying Mantis - awesome band. "Captured City" is one of my favorite NWOBHM songs ever., and "Time Tells No Lies" is a classic album. I've heard one of their more recent albums, "A Cry for the New World", and it was basically pop crap.

Haven't heard Fifth Angel, I'll check them out.

if u want to have a good Stormwitch album then buy either "Walpurgis Night" , "Tales Of Terror" , or "Stronger Than Heaven" these are the Stormwitch masterpieces.
