That's basically how to do it but.... getting any floating trem guitar in tune isn't as easy as it sounds. It's a lot like saying you ride a bike by getting on and balancing. Easy to say, not so easy to do.
I've found if you're changing all the strings it's best to do one at a time. Be prepared to spend a half hour or more the first time you have to change strings, it's a learning experience. And BTW, if one broke it's probably time to change them all.
