Thanks for devaluing our work.
Thanks for devaluing our work.
So my laptop has become packed with viruses cause i kept FUCKING 40GB of my friend's porn collection in my portable Hard disk.
Let me echo that......THANKS FOR DEVALUING OUR WORK!
There is no reason to work for free. There are tons of raw mixing files floating around to practice with if that is what you need. You might not understand now but we are trying to do you a favor by saying this stuff.
I knew i might get bad reviews from this. But idk how i am devaluing AEs. Im just looking forward to mixing some originals.
Yes i have already mixed lots of songs online..[The DIs about which you mentioned] but everything comes of real easy there as there is no editing for guitar tracks,Vocal tracks and no programming..barely any quantizing..I appreciate you saying all that for my good but i have heard that giving out free mixes actually promotes your work. I live in an Asian country and if i get a chance to work with International bands then that makes my studio look good.Let me echo that......THANKS FOR DEVALUING OUR WORK!

Im sorry i am not responsible for you having problems with your erection! Why the fuck do you hate porn so much..:Onuff said
You don't know how it devalues the work of AE's? Really?
Other people are trying to make a living by being an AE, then guys like you come along and charge NOTHING AT ALL. Think about the effects of that for a second.
If you are really just "looking forward to mixing some originals" why not just go to the practice room section of the forum, download one of the sets of raw tracks you find there (you'll find dozens) and mix those to practice on? I mean, you won't get paid for doing that either, and you won't piss anyone off OR devalue the industry that way! Sounds like a good idea to me...

Last time i saw a guy claiming that he recorded bands by downloading DIs from other AEs online was fucked. I wouldn't do that cause thats DEVALUING.
This. It's not just a case of it being more professional. So someone recommends you to an indie band looking to record their first EP, so those guys go ahead and take a look at your site. First thing they see is, in their eyes, a jumbled up nonsensical bunch of scribbled letters. At this point they're most likely doubting whether you're right for the job of recording and mixing an indie band, so they go and look for other studios. Sure, it looks awesome to the guys that are familiar with metal, but would you really want lose that many customers just because your logo is too niché?just find a local band and record them for free if you are so desperate. Also I wouldn't recommend a death metal logo as a logo for a studio, go for something professional
So somebody doing work for $15 an hour doesnt devalue our work, but a kid doing this to get his name out there does .... HMMMMMM :scratches head:
