Hey guys, i am currently working on a University assignment where i have to design a portfolio for myself and offer a product within the music industry that i have to write a brief and perform.

I could do the whole "Here is a studio" thing, but in my eyes it has been done to absolute death.

I was thinking of the following things :

• Portable Location Recording
• Reamping
• Drum Programming, Sampling and Editing
• Recording for a video engineer on location.
• Live backline technician and engineer.

What kind of services would you guys like to see that not many people offer, that could possibly be a nice twist?

drum quantizing,vocal treatment, kinda like reamping but applying subtractive eq,light autotune etc... never seen that before or foley sounds. get enough and you can make em kontakt compatible ...eh some ideas.

how are any recording studios different, in terms of commercial services?

most of them all offer the same services.
