I was thinking about picking up some sturgis samples but I saw you need kontakt 4 player? Will it still work for kontakt 5? And do I have to buy that too? I hope not. Thanks.

Allll right thanks. Just saw on NI's site in the FAQ that you couldn't use 3rd party sample libraries :/

His site says "kontakt 4 instrument only" Have you personally used his samples in kontakt 5 and can confirm they work in it before this guys spends money on something?

that just means kontakt 4 and newer versions of kontakt. kontakt 5 is backwards compatible - if it wasn't, all the 3rd party libraries would need to be updated and that's really not in anybody's interests, especially as the only new thing in version 5 is pretty much new filters.
