Success!

Congrats, but don't you think that you're setting your sights a little low? My first job was paid internship at a film studio doing computer maintenance.

my 1st job was doing dishes at a run down mexican restraunt and working at Arby's...film studio doing computer maintenance? one hell of a 1st job!

hmm my first job was as a waiter at the cinema that was alot of fun i saw all the new movies and it was no hard work :p

and yes waiter at the cinema(people who sit and watch the movie and then push a button and go by them and ask what they want for drinks and stuff)

nah its really awesome there you may even smoke during the movie :P and there is no break so you can stay on your seat and not have to wait untill a fucking pause is over...

Yeah but you can also drink during movies here. As in beer.

I welcome the pauses during the movies...lets you go pee without missing anything.

but you're paying a fortune most likely. it's best to just smuggle the booze in a backpack. like, best EVER.

No. The price is about the same, just like when you go to McDonald's and order beer.

Ok, we're not talking great beers, but it's still beer.

there's no way the cost of beer at some form of restaurant is equivalent to that at a licensed liquor store.

There are no REAL liquor stores here, dude. The price of beer fluctuates on whatever the pub/restaurant/movie theater/beer stand owner sets.

You can buy beer at the grocery store, pubs, restaurants, McDonald's, movie theaters, pizzerias, etc.

Now speaking about the movie theaters, of course it's going to be a little more expensive. EVERYTHING is overpriced at the movies, but not as much as you'd think. There's an entire bar in the movie theater here...they wouldn't make any money if their prices were exorbitant.

Beer is like Coca-Cola here. There's an official drinking age, but it's like 16 or 17 I think. No one really minds because they don't act like complete retards when they drink.

Actually there is one liquor store I know of, but it's not really a "liquor store". It serves almost every single type of alcohol you can think of. I buy everything from wine to absinthe there.

I just got hired at the Discovery Channel store. :Spin::Spin::Spin:

Oh yeah, forgot to tell you congratulations. When you get a job, your life seems to have some sort of direction. It's also a reason to get up in the morning and make money so you can buy shit and be self-sufficient.

I don't know about you, but when I was your age, I fucking hated asking my parents for money because I always felt like I owed them something.

wow, then that's a cool lifestyle. a normal can will run you like two or three bucks at the liquor store here, but about five-ish at the movies or any restaurant. that's about the ratio differential here. laaaaaaaame.
