Hi to you all I' m Maurizio from Italy.
I leave you this link of my band's (Black Sand) mp3, please listen :
www.webalice.it/kaomao/killer_instinct.mp3
www.webalice.it/kaomao/nevermore.mp3
www.webalice.it/kaomao/we_annihilate.mp3
www.webalice.it/kaomao/the_skinner.mp3
What do you think? And you Andy???
I've recorded with a cheap Soundcraft desk (Spirit 8).
Guitars and bass were tracked with a SM57 straight into the mixing desk mics pre.
Vocals with the same SM57, I had many problems 'cause you know SM57 hasn't an anti-pop filter
Drums is just a trigger module from Yamaha (DTX 2.0), i've recorded the midi output into cubase and then loaded my favorite samples founded on the web with Halion plug in for Cubase.
I used a plug in for mastering: iZotope, for pumping up the volume.
No pro gear, but I think it's a good sounding demo with just 0 Euros
Any suggestions are welcome, in fact as you can see the sound of guitars is
different on every track of the demo, I tried different sound.
Bye Maurizio
