So, when I have the cash, which album of Suidakra's should I get first?

I'm thinking The Arcanum even though I think I'd have to order it from Germany. Then again...Emprise To Avalon sounds pretty damned good as well and is easier to find (I can just get it from The End).

Anyone own both albums? Perhaps you can describe the differences between them?

Don't have The Arcanum, but Emprise To Avalon is really cool. Mind you, the one song I've heard off The Arcanum (Wartunes) is probably my favourite Suidakra song. I heard overall, The Arcanum wasn't as good though.

I've only heard Wartunes and Gates of Nevermore off of The Arcanum. I think they both are better than the one I've heard off Avalon (Pendragon's Fall). Though not by too much.

Try to find "Lays From Afar" instead. It's easily the best Suidakra album to this date IMO - and I got them all. Also included as a bonus on the digipack version of LFA is Suidakra's first, self-financed and impossible to find CD "Lupine Essence" which is mighty fine too.

I have both and The Arcanum is better but Lays From Afar is a good choice too...
