PROGPOWER

Two weeks after the festival, we find the time to take a breath and report about this amazing event.
Sun Caged's show was very succesful. Despite lots of technical difficulties onstage, the band managed to put down a solid set and Andre's new vocal melodies and lyrics on the old songs seemed to work very well.
The audience's response was very good and the band received lots of compliments from fans as well as from the other bands that were playing at the festival.
The band sold out all of the merchandise they had with them. New shirt are available again already so don't worry

SONGWRITING UPDATE

Despite earlier announcements and the numerous shows, the band do seem to find the time to write new material for the album. Another new song has been written, and more might come.
The new material was written for a good part by singer André Vuurboom and is the first song to be fully written by the current line-up all together.
The guys themselves think it's the best material they've written so far (and that's how it should be ;-)).
Sun Caged's goal is to put as much new material on the album as possible.
The studio is booked for the second half of February 2003. No release date has been set, but the band are hoping to be able to release the album before the summer of 2003.
MERCHANDISE

As mentioned earlier, the band sold out all their merchandise at the ProgPower festival.
New t-shirts are already in, and cheaper than before. The new shirts are $13 / ?13 and this includes shipping costs and a hand full of stickers!
