I'm doing good bro. Tennessee is the shit and stuff. I got a new cat I named 'Moonshine'. I'm just doing my thang.

hahahahaha Nothing like checking the ol' RC at random and seeing you have your own thread...and from a Matt, nonetheless.
To answer the question: I be livin well. School's out for summer. I deactivated my FB account. I've been obssessed with "The Locust Years" for two weeks straight. One of the kids broke my headphones so I have an excuse to buy some new ones. I've been playing Left 4 Dead alot recently. Stuff like that.

Thanks for asking. I was just thinking about you the other day. I figured you were never coming back to RC.

Tennessee is the shit. Movin' there one day.

Hmmmmm.....it's OK. You're probably thinking of the eastern part, yeah? Closer to the Smokies?
Middle Tennessee (where I'm at) is pretty hilly itself but it's not mountainous by any stretch of the imagination...assuming you think TN is the shit because of the terrain.
I think I once recommended that you move to Chattanooga.
But if you like the mountains, you might as well just go ahead and move to Asheville, North Carolina.

Middle Tennessee is what I like! That area between Nashville and Cookeville is so nice. I took a Greyhound once from Maryland to Texas, and when we were traveling through that portion of Tennessee, I looked out the window, saw all of these nice hills and foliage, and grass swaying softly in the sunlight. It all just looked perfect. I've never wanted to go lay down in the grass more than I did at that moment. Yeah, I know, it's gay. :loco:

Big mountains are overrated.

Ahhh! Ok, gotcha. I thought you were into the mountains for some reason.
You described the outlying areas of Nashville pretty well. As soon as you leave the city, you're in the country. And I mean *country*. I had to take a detour the other day because of flood damage and went up some backwoods road and it was like being in another world.

did just that around Knoxville one evening when the sky was so clear that is looked like the stars on top of you like a blanket.
of course I was high and listening to The Doors on a drive down to NOLA from NYC.

then a half hour later the fog was so thick I almost crashed into the back of an 18 wheeler.

This is a good example of what I saw, from Rutherford County.

Gimme! I will live there forevers!!

Hmm, yeah, I remember some gnarly nighttime fog from another Greyhound trip through Tennessee. That was actually quite scary, being on a bus and all.

they don't call them the "Smokies" for nothing

I'll keep you to that if I ever get around to visiting there (not that mega far from here as you know so not impossible), and they'll have to house the woman and offspring as well.
