I'm running Superior in Logic and I feel like my tones are very thin with my current settings. Does anyone have a suggestion for EQ on bass drum to add low end to a mix?

This is what I've been working on...

Just not sure what I should be boosting in the eq to maybe find some more of the low end?

I usually scoop out quite a bit around 500 Hz on the kick. That gets rid of the "boxy" qualities in the kick and has the effect of bringing out the low end as well as the attack. Throw some compression on there as well.

I have it compressed pretty hard. I'll try that scoop and see how it works out.

Do you boost at 100-200hz or anything?

For me, in general, it depends on how the bass guitar is sounding and how fast the tempo is. With a faster tempo, you want less low end on the kick or things tend to lose clarity.

Try scooping out around 500 Hz first. If you need more low end, you can do a bit of a boost around 80-120 Hz. If it's still too thin, you can try a low shelf around that region.
