Superior 2 + TMF Snare

Has anyone been able to achieve a great sounding snare for metal / hardcore using S2.0 and with Metal foundry? If so, can you give me tips as to how to do so?

No matter what I tweak, I can't seem to get a good snare sound. I'm starting with Snotlip and tweaking from there.

I've been liking the Ludwig Clear Vistalite snare with the top and bottom condensors only and slammed with the api 2500

how about starting with a complete raw kit!?
choose a kit and listen to the different kicks, sares etc.
the choose the ones you thin sound the best and then start tweaking.
