SUPERLUX PRA628 MKII & Shure SM57 [Sound Test]

Like the Superlux for the metalz. Sounds very rounded and focused. No fizz to be had. Could be positioning of course, but I could really imagine using that mic for some stoner rock or very chimey guitar tones.

The Superflux seemed more "broadband" and to have more low mid and less presence. I prefer it on everything except on the heavier riff, where I think the 57's "drier" tone fits better, it seems more focused. I also think the 57 fits better in the mix you posted.
