Isn't the TS9 meant to sound different from the Maxon 808 sim? Or am I downright ignorant?

In the real world the two are almost the same so I guess the sims should also be the same. The sims not a bad representation really, but you can really hear all the typical sim attributes that we all hate.

the difference does actually surprise me! I didn't get these results when comparing it with my TS808 clone.. your's original and not modded by any chance?

Onqel I said some time ago that I checked par to par TS808 vs. Biyang X-Drive (AKAI's Overdrive) a great pedal. And I get real close sound between the hardware and your TS808. I think your vst is great. In this test I'm liking the hardware far better.

Thanks for clearing this up, after running some tests against spice simulations I found some issues to fix.. as a quick fix in the VST, set the capacitor C2 to 10 pF, there's some unit conversion errors in the plugin :\ I will have a remodeled version up with more fixes eventually
