Swedish Folk Music

Hmm i don't really know swedish folk bands like Otyg but there's the band Storm, ok they're from Norway, but so what.
Then there's the older Vintersorg Cds, then you could try Wongraven's "Fjelltronen" or of course Tenhi and Ulver's "Kveldssanger" but i suppose you already know them ;)
Others: Isengard, Summoning, Cruachan, Garmana, Väsen, Nordman, Finntroll, Hagalaz' Runedance.
Sorry if i couldn't really help :(

Look for a lable called NorthSide.
they carry bands like Hedningarna, Vasen etc.
great stuff. That's the real thing as far as Scandinavian folk music.

Yeah Garmarna are defferently something to look for!
i`d suggest you to try out Jan Garbarek - Rosensfole. It`s Norwegian folk, not Swedish but really great, well rooted and all based inside Atmosphere jazz.
